Hier, auf ehemaligem Milit\u00e4rgebiet, befindet sich auf ca. 20 Hektar ein eng verzahntes Mosaik von Zwergstrauchheiden, Borstgrasrasen, Bergwiesenfragmente und Kleingew\u00e4sser. Diese Offenfl\u00e4che ist durch das rauhe Klima, die N\u00e4hrstoffarmut der Standorte sowie teilweise Vern\u00e4ssung gekennzeichnet und bietet zahlreichen seltenen Pflanzen und Tierarten ein letztes R\u00fcckzugsgebiet. So finden sich hier, neben dem Keulen-B\u00e4rlapp (Lycopodium clavatum), auch der \u00e4u\u00dferst seltene Alpen-Flachb\u00e4rlapp (Diphasiastrum alpinum). Die Kleine Moosjungfer (Leucorrhinia dubia) sowie die Torf-Mosaikjungfer (Aeshna juncea) besiedelt die Kleingew\u00e4sser. Desweiteren stellt das Gebiet eines der gr\u00f6\u00dften Vorkommen der Kreuzotter in Sachsen dar.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-2011 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><dl
